Algorithm for Heart Rate detection
Evaluating different methods for PPG signal processing
I developed a custom Grid Search algorithm designed specifically for filtering
and processing PPG signals. The primary objective of this algorithm
is to accurately extract HR and HRV values. The algorithm explores
various parameter combinations and computes the error between the true values, obtained
from labeled ECG signals, and the estimated values, derived from raw PPG signals. I also
created a custom application that simplifies the labeling of ECG signals associated with PPG signals,
a demo video is showed above.
My team and I are working on this ongoing project, in collaboration with Brno University
in the Czech Republic.
